Sweet beginnings, rooted in tradition
Henry’s Greenwoods Farm was founded when Edgar Henry and his wife, Martha Dionne, established a small dairy farm in Alburgh, Vermont, where they raised 13 children. In 1929, Edgar built a modest sugarhouse and began the tradition of boiling sap over a wood fire each spring to make maple syrup for his family and friends. The woodsman tradition Edgar inherited from his father was passed down as both his sugar woods and family expanded. Today, the farm is still run by the fourth generation of Henry's descendants and their friends.
Every spring, we continue the tradition of boiling sap over a wood fire to craft our rich, delicious Vermont maple syrup for you, our family, and our friends to enjoy.
Whether you’re drizzling it on pancakes, baking it into a recipe, or savoring it straight from the jar, our syrup is made with love, care, and a dedication to excellence. Thank you for choosing Henry’s – where tradition meets taste, and every bottle tells the story of our family’s rich maple syrup heritage.
